The Pembroke Lumber Kings relied on the sparkling performance of Francis Dupuis in net to grab a 2-1 win against the Nepean Raiders. After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Nepean faces elimination next time out. Pembroke was paced by Brandon Gagne, who tallied one goal. Gagne scored 19:48 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. Jonathan Milley assisted on the tally. The Lumber Kings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Pembroke also got a goal from Zach Loesch as well. More assists for Pembroke came via Patrice Wren and Tyler Gaudet, who contributed one a piece. The Raiders' offense rang up 40 shots on Pembroke's net. Nepean was led by Jamie Olivier, who scored the team's only goal. Olivier scored 11:50 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Nepean. Brent Norris picked up the assist. Dupuis rejected 39 shots on goal for the Lumber Kings. Pembroke incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Matt Zawadzki recorded 26 saves for the Raiders. Nepean incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
