Davenport University's comeback falls short, Adrian College - Gold wins 4-2

Adrian College - Gold came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Davenport University, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory.

Adrian College - Gold led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Adrian College - Gold's Eddie Schaeffer's scored at 7:12 in the second period to put Adrian College - Gold up 3-0.

Russ Rizzo had a great game for Adrian College - Gold, netting two goals. Rizzo found the back of the net 2:46 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Adrian College - Gold and again while 15:00 into the second to make the score 4-2 Adrian College - Gold.

Adrian College - Gold forced Davenport University goalie Andrew Habasevich to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.
