The Thorold Blackhawks could not stop the St. Catharines Falcons' Johnson Andrews, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-0 win. Andrews got on the scoresheet 18:08 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:25 into the second and at 14:41 into the second.The win by St. Catharines clinched the best of seven series at 2-4. The game was close after the first frame, but the Falcons banged in four goals during the second period to put the victory out of reach for Thorold. The Blackhawks fell victim to a deadly St. Catharines power play, which ripped Thorold for five goals. The Falcons excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. The Blackhawks were unable to stop St. Catharines from sending pucks towards the net, and the Falcons eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. St. Catharines' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. St. Catharines also got points from Kenny Bradford, who also tallied two goals and one assist. St. Catharines also got a goal from Jesse Miller as well. In addition, St. Catharines received assists from Curtis Longland, who had two, Ben Dubois, who had three, and Tyler Jackson, Kyle Woodhouse, Matt Melo, and Aaron Taylor, who each chipped in one. Brad Pope rejected 23 shots on goal for the Falcons. St. Catharines incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Thorold's Evan Buitenhuis stopped 27 shots out of the 33 that he faced. The Blackhawks incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors.
