London's Watson deadly on offense in 3-1 win against St. Marys

Spencer Watson had two goals to lead the London Nationals to a 3-1 victory over the St. Marys Lincolns.

Watson scored at 16:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London and again while 9:44 into the third to make the score 2-1 London.

The win by London clinched the best of seven series at 2-4.

London also got a goal from Noah Schwartz as well. In addition, London received assists from Thomas Menechella, Daniel Cameron, Jonathon Sims, and Tyler Bryden, who each chipped in one.

St. Marys' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four London power plays.

The Lincolns were led by Sean Consitt, who scored the team's only goal. Consitt scored on the power play 4:18 into the second period to make the score 1-1. St. Marys had taken the advantage when the Nationals' Steven Taylor got sent off for high sticking. Calvin Penney picked up the assist.

London's Taylor Edwards stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Nationals incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Devin Golets made 26 saves for the Lincolns on 28 shots. St. Marys incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
