Helena relied on the sparkling performance of Trey Flesch in net to grab a 3-1 win against Billings. After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Billings faces elimination next time out. Helena's penalty kill excelled, as Helena gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Helena was sparked by Cody Blom, who registered one goal. Blom scored 8:30 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Helena. Alex DeWitz picked up the assist. Helena stifled Billings' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
