The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots' Kyle Dutra scored 3:10 into overtime to beat the St. Michaels Buzzers, 4-3 (OT). The win by Toronto Lakeshore clinched the best of seven series at 4-1. The Patriots overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Toronto Lakeshore was down 3-1 after a goal by St. Michaels' Daniel Milne at 16:53 in the second period. The Patriots tied things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by James De Haas at 11:42 in the third period. Dutra was all over the ice for Toronto Lakeshore, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Dutra scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 14:52 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Michaels. The Patriots had gained a power play chance when CJ Shugart was whistled for elbowing. Doug Bonar provided the assist. Dutra's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Toronto Lakeshore with 16:50 left in overtime. Luke Shiplo assisted on the tally. Toronto Lakeshore's offense rang up 38 shots on the Buzzers' net. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Alex D Oliveira also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Brandon Willett, James Ryan, and Ryan Kinsella, who contributed one a piece. St. Michaels kept the Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joseph Pianta made 29 saves on 32 shots. The Buzzers were helped by Taylor Clements, who finished with one goal. Clements scored on the power play 4:38 into the second period to make the score 2-0 St. Michaels. A tripping penalty on Daniel Tedesco had put St. Michaels on the power play. Mike Lansdowne picked up the assist. In addition, St. Michaels received assists from Nicholas Lepone, who had one and Joseph Luongo, who had two. Toronto Lakeshore incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Adrian Ignagni rejected 34 shots on goal for the Buzzers. St. Michaels incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
