Peter Lindblad was all over the ice for the Granite City Lumberjacks, as he tallied two goals in Granite City's 2-1 win over the Minnesota Flying Aces.

Lindblad's tallies came at 8:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Granite City and 11:10 into the second to make the score 2-1 Granite City.

The win by the Lumberjacks clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

More assists for Granite City came via Nick Turbitt, who had two and Jake Peterson and Trevor Ness, who contributed one a piece.

Minnesota's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Granite City power plays.

The Flying Aces were led by Stephen Langford, who scored the team's only goal. Langford scored 1:57 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kyle Bonstrom picked up the assist.

Matt Grove recorded 23 saves for Granite City. The Lumberjacks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Minnesota's Tyler Muehler stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Flying Aces incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
