Nobles came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Exeter, but did just enough to escape with a 5-3 victory. Nobles led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Nobles' Max Franklin's scored at 11:15 in the second period to put Nobles up 4-1. PJ Falvey had a great game for Nobles, netting two goals. Falvey's tallies came at 6:33 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Nobles and 15:47 into the third to make the score 5-3 Nobles. Nobles forced Exeter's netminders to work in net, ripping 31 shots and forcing 26 saves. Nolan Daley made 21 stops and Tim Cooney made five. Nobles got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Nobles additionally got points from Chris Calnan, who also registered one goal and two assists and Adam Gilmour, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for Nobles came via Colin White, who had two and Tim Boyle, Philip Sciretta, and Andrew Doane, who contributed one a piece. Exeter kept Nobles' goalie busy throughout the game, and Conor Maher made 37 saves on 40 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Exeter was helped by Alex Carlacci, who finished with one goal. Carlacci scored 5:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Exeter. Brian Hart assisted on the tally. Exeter also got points from Max Summermatter, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Nobles incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Exeter incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
