Pieter Schinkelshoek gave the London Nationals a 4-3 (OT) victory over the LaSalle Vipers when he scored 2:50 into the extra period. After the loss made the series score 1-3 in the best of seven series, LaSalle faces elimination next time out. London overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Nationals trailed 3-1 after a goal by the Vipers' Eric Noel at 10:13 in the second period. London tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Aaron Dartch at 19:38 in the third period. Schinkelshoek was all over the ice for the Nationals, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Schinkelshoek scored the first of his two goals at 18:10 into the second period to make the score 3-2 LaSalle. Daniel Cameron assisted on the tally. Schinkelshoek's next tally made the score 4-3 London with 17:10 left in overtime. Cameron picked up the assist. London additionally got points from Noah Schwartz, who also had one goal and three assists. LaSalle also got points from Ryan Speers, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Matt Beaudoin also scored for LaSalle. More assists for LaSalle came via Dylan Seguin, who had two and Hunter Smith, Dylan Denomme, and Patrick Murphy, who contributed one a piece. Taylor Edwards made 27 saves for London on 30 shots. The Nationals incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jordan Dekort recorded 25 saves for LaSalle. The Vipers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
