Adam Campagnolo gave the Waterloo Siskins a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Stratford Cullitons when he scored 14:24 into the extra period. With the win, Waterloo evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. The Siskins overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Waterloo was down 2-0 after a goal by Stratford's Ray Huether at 7:24 in the second period. The Siskins tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Mike Van Ooteghem at 8:56 in the third period. Waterloo's penalty kill excelled, as the Siskins gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Waterloo stifled the Cullitons' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Stratford was unable to stop the Siskins from sending pucks towards the net, and Waterloo eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Waterloo additionally got points from Sean Fennell, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Waterloo were Kyle Platzer and Stephen Witiuk, who each chipped in one. The Cullitons forced the Siskins goalie PJ Bridges to work between the pipes, taking 59 shots. Stratford was helped by Trevor Sauder, who grabbed one goal. Sauder scored 9:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stratford. Myles Melchers picked up the assist. More assists for Stratford came via Steven Dol and Brock Reynolds, who contributed one a piece. Bridges recorded 57 saves for Waterloo. The Siskins incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Jesse Raymond made 44 saves for the Cullitons on 47 shots. Stratford incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
