The Stratford Cullitons took home the win against the Waterloo Siskins, 7-2. The win moved Stratford to down 2-0 in the best of seven series. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 14:51 into the third period. Eight fighting penalties were dished out along with seven game misconducts. Both goalies were tossed from the game during the major incident in the third period. The Cullitons forced Siskins' goalies to work in net, firing 48 shots and forcing 41 saves. Marc Williams made 39 stops and PJ Bridges made two. Stratford found itself short handed often, totaling 53 penalty minutes and allowing 12 power plays. The defensemen of the Cullitons were also effective in Waterloo's zone, and came away with three goals. Stratford was led by Brock Reynolds, who had one goal and one assist. Reynolds scored 6:37 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Stratford. Stratford additionally got points from Steven Dol, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Tyson Avery also scored for Stratford. In addition, Stratford received assists from Tyler Marchand, Mike Pleon, and Calvin Thomson, who contributed one a piece and Trevor Sauder, Pat Clifford, and Andrew Barton, who each chipped in two. The Siskins were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 35 penalty minutes. Waterloo was helped by Adam Campagnolo, who grabbed one goal. Campagnolo scored 7:58 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Stratford. Kyle Platzer provided the assist. More assists for Waterloo came via Devon Wagner and Eric Fischer, who contributed one a piece. Taylor Dupuis took the win and made 26 saves before being replaced by Jesse Raymond who made two saves. The Cullitons registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. For Stratford, Taylor Dupuis, Clifford, and Brad McClure were ejected from the contest. Team's Jacob Ariss, Connor Voigt, Mitch Facey, Ryan Douse, and Williams were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
