Billones' hat trick boosts Philadelphia Revolution over Jersey Hitmen, 4-0

Manvil Billones netted a hat trick to lead the Philadelphia Revolution Revolution over Jersey Hitmen, 4-0.

Billones notched his first tally 13:41 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:20 into the second and at 17:15 into the third.

The win gave Philadelphia Revolution a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Robert Palzer spearheaded the defensive effort for the Revolution, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 45 saves for the shutout. The solid play of Palzer will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.0.

Philadelphia Revolution's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Jersey Hitmen power plays. Jersey Hitmen was unable to stop the Revolution from sending pucks towards the net, and Philadelphia Revolution eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. The Revolution could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.
