Andrew Doyle gave the Stouffville Spirit a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Aurora Tigers when he scored 4:15 into the extra period.

With the win, Stouffville evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.

Doyle had two goals to lead the Spirit to victory.

Stouffville kept Aurora's goalie busy throughout the game, and Brett Sinclair made 31 saves on 35 shots.

Stouffville also got a goal from Drake Caggiula as well. More assists for Stouffville came via Matthew Heffernan, Christian Finch, Robert Powers, and Brandon Gaudette, who each chipped in one and Chris Porter and Paul Geiger, who contributed two a piece.

The Spirit were unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and Aurora eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. The Tigers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

Aurora was helped by Nick Angelo, who tallied one goal. Angelo scored 2:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Aurora. Adam Moody assisted on the tally. Jeff MacPherson also scored for Aurora. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Brendan Barletta, who had two and Evan Fong and Eric Bouchard, who each chipped in one.

Knick Dawe recorded 33 saves for Stouffville. The Spirit incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Tigers registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
