Mikes nets hat trick, leads San Jose Jr Sharks 18U to 9-1 win over New Jersey Jr Titans 18U

New Jersey Jr Titans 18U could not stop San Jose Jr Sharks 18U's Joshua Mikes, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-1 win.

Mikes' first goal came 12:28 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:21 into the third and at 5:00 into the third.

San Jose Jr Sharks 18U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

San Jose Jr Sharks 18U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Jersey Jr Titans 18U to score on any of its six power plays.
