St Louis Selects 16U holds on for 3-2 win against Detroit Falcons 16U

St Louis Selects 16U survived a determined comeback attempt by Detroit Falcons 16U on the way to a 3-2 win.

St Louis Selects 16U took a 3-1 lead during the second period, only to have Detroit Falcons 16U storm back on a Tim Foley goal 6:43 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

St Louis Selects 16U was led by Trevor Thornton, who registered one goal and one assist. Thornton scored 12:41 into the second period to make the score St Louis Selects 16U. Alex Klaesner assisted on the tally.
