Texas Tornado 16U vanquishes Omaha AAA Lancers 16U in shootout, 4-3

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Texas Tornado 16U defeated Omaha AAA Lancers 16U in a shootout 4-3.

The shootout lasted for two attempts between the teams.

Texas Tornado 16U came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Texas Tornado 16U fell behind 3-1 after a goal by Omaha AAA Lancers 16U's Chris Wilkie at 9:46 in the second period. Texas Tornado 16U knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Austin Cox at 14:54 in the second period.

Omaha AAA Lancers 16U was unable to stop Texas Tornado 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Texas Tornado 16U eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.
