North's Joseph Ferriss had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 8-1 win over Midwest. Ferriss found the back of the net 6:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 North and again while 7:12 into the third to make the score 8-1 North.North managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. North wound up below its season average of three penalty minutes per game. North surpassed its usual scoring output this season. North averages four goals per game. The 33 shots that North put on net surpassed North's average of 28 shots per game this season. North additionally got points from Andrew Graves, who also had two goals and two assists, Alec (AJ) White, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Robbie Payne, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Sean Murphy also scored for North. Other players who recorded assists for North were Brock Raffaele, who had two and Zack Dorer, Nolan Valleau, Will Badner, Mike Moroso, Maxwell Reavis, and Anthony Coles, who contributed one each. Midwest stifled North's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Midwest was below its usual level of shot production, taking 24 shots compared to the 32 Midwest averages. Midwest was led by Michael Preston, who scored the team's only goal. Preston scored 8:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Midwest. Joe Ballmer took the win and made nine saves before being replaced by Peter Megariotis who made 14 saves. North registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. Tony Kujava recorded 25 saves for Midwest. Midwest incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
