Texas Tornado 16U's Bebb deadly on offense in 5-2 win against West Michigan Hounds 16U

Texas Tornado 16U relied on the scoring touch of Connor Bebb, who netted two goals, to beat West Michigan Hounds 16U, 5-2.

Bebb found the back of the net on the power play 9:32 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Texas Tornado 16U and again while short handed 15:49 into the second to make the score 5-2 Texas Tornado 16U.

Texas Tornado 16U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

Texas Tornado 16U stifled West Michigan Hounds 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Texas Tornado 16U kept West Michigan Hounds 16U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jarred Felt made 28 saves on 33 shots.

Texas Tornado 16U got a goal from Tommy Hoenshell as well. In addition, Texas Tornado 16U received assists from Chandler Davis, Mason Weis, Jack Trischett, Justin Boswell, Jack Duhe, and Kade Brannon, who contributed one each.

Texas Tornado 16U was unable to stop West Michigan Hounds 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and West Michigan Hounds 16U eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

West Michigan Hounds 16U was helped by Dakota Wilson, who tallied one goal. Wilson scored 6:28 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Texas Tornado 16U. Logan DeJong provided the assist. Keegan Ward also scored for West Michigan Hounds 16U. Other players who recorded assists for West Michigan Hounds 16U were Evan Bennett, who had one.

Jay Harrington turned away 32 pucks between the pipes for Texas Tornado 16U. Texas Tornado 16U registered one goal on six power play opportunities. West Michigan Hounds 16U incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
