Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Georgina Ice defeated the Clarington Eagles in a shootout 6-5 (1-0 SO). The shootout lasted for six attempts between the teams.Georgina came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Ice fell behind 5-3 after a goal by Clarington's Sam Jackson at 19:34 in the second period. Georgina knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Vito Jessop at 14:05 in the third period.
