Christopher Santaniello had two goals and two assists to lead the Springfield Pics Pics to a 7-4 victory over the CD Selects Selects Minor B.

Santaniello scored at 12:10 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Springfield Pics and again while 19:22 into the third to make the score 7-4 Springfield Pics.

Springfield Pics' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five CD Selects power plays. The Pics forced CD Selects goalie Matthew McLaughlin to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots. Springfield Pics outdid its season average for goals scored. The Pics have scored at the pace of four goals per game during the current campaign.

Springfield Pics additionally got points from Max Wosky, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Andrew Provost, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Jeremy Wich, who also finished with one goal and three assists, and James Padrevita, who also racked up one goal and two assists. CD Selects also got points from Ryan Flynn, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Sauter, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for CD Selects were Nate Ryan, who had two.

The Pics incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Matthew McLaughlin made 55 saves for the Selects Minor B on 61 shots. CD Selects ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major. The Selects Minor B ran into disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brandon Manktelow was ejected from the game.
