Drevitch's hat trick boosts Boston Bandits over Springfield Pics, 7-3

Tyler Drevitch netted a hat trick to lead Boston Bandits over the Springfield Pics Pics, 7-3.

Drevitch notched his first tally 19:13 into the second period. He then added goals at 7:15 into the third and at 19:48 into the third.

Both teams had a hard time staying out of the box, and they combined for 14 penalties during the game.

Boston Bandits made Pics' netminders to work in net, firing 38 shots and forcing 31 saves. Evan Moorehouse made 19 stops and Andrew DePuy made 12. Boston Bandits' goal total was higher than its season average. Boston Bandits has scored at the pace of four goals per game during the current campaign. Boston Bandits could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was Michael Cusato, who totaled six minutes in penalty time with three minors.

Boston Bandits additionally got points from Paul Fregeau, who also finished with two goals and two assists, Evan Jackson, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Drevitch, who also grabbed three goals and two assists. Boston Bandits got a goal from Will Platt as well.
