Bay State Breakers vanquishes Springfield Pics in shootout, 4-3 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Bay State Breakers Breakers defeated the Springfield Pics Pics in a shootout 4-3 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. Springfield Pics' shootout goal was scored by Matthew Antonacci. Bay State Breakers' other shootout goal was scored by Alan Boozer.

The Breakers pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 12 penalty minutes.

Bay State Breakers was paced by Henry Nelson, who grabbed one goal. Nelson scored on the power play 16:38 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Bay State Breakers. The Breakers had taken the advantage when the Pics' Ryan Pfau got sent off for tripping. Ryan ODonnell picked up the assist.

Springfield Pics was unable to stop Bay State Breakers from sending pucks towards the net, and the Breakers eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.
