Helena had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 3-0 win over Missoula.

Cody Blom had a great game for Helena, netting two goals. Blom's tallies came at 8:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Helena and 5:20 into the second to make the score 2-0 Helena.

Helena put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Missoula to score on any of its five power plays. Helena forced Missoula goalie McKinlee Baum to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

Helena got a goal from Alex DeWitz as well. More assists for Helena came via Levi Blom, who had two and Danny Fazio, Devin Smith, Balasz Goz, and Jett Salinas, who each chipped in one.

Missoula's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Helena power plays.
