Missoula won 5-2 over Bozeman. Missoula excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Missoula kept Bozeman's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jordan Lehr made 35 saves on 40 shots. The defensemen of Missoula were also effective in Bozeman's zone, and came away with two goals. Missoula was helped by Oscar Bjorkander, who tallied one goal. Bjorkander scored 13:46 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Missoula. Donovan Mattfeldt provided the assist.
