Cody Blom gave Helena the lead in the first period, and Bozeman was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1. A goal 2:57 into the the first period by Blom proved to be the game winner, and powered Helena to the victory Balasz Goz provided the assist.Bozeman was stymied by Helena netminder Trey Flesch, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Flesch managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.89 prior to the game. Helena was paced by Theo Campe, who racked up one goal and one assist.
