Wenatchee falls to Fresno in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Fresno Monsters' Brendan Bradley scored 1:15 into overtime to beat the Wenatchee Wild, 3-2 (OT).

Fresno was led by Bradley, who racked up one goal and one assist.

The Monsters failed to reach their usual level of shot production, putting 17 pucks on goal after averaging 21.8 shots per game this season. Fresno's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Monsters finished with 27 penalty minutes.

Fresno also got a goal from Luke Sandler as well. More assists for Fresno came via Jesse Durfee, Mikhail Bushinski, and Jordan Haskell, who contributed one a piece.

Wenatchee was led by Ben Carey, who tallied one goal and one assist. Carey scored on the power play 17:54 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Wenatchee. The Wild had gained a power play chance when Petr Mainer was whistled for checking from behind. Tyler Rostenkowski assisted on the tally. Kyle Huson also scored for Wenatchee. In addition, Wenatchee received assists from Matt Cope and Trace Redmond, who each chipped in one.

Fresno's Tomas Sholl stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Monsters registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Greg Lewis rejected 14 shots on goal for Wenatchee. The Wild totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play.
