Gorsuch, Michigan blank Kalamazoo, 4-0

Trevor Gorsuch recorded a shutout against the Kalamazoo Jr. K Wings as the Michigan Warriors picked up a 4-0 win.

Michigan was led by Travis Hill, who grabbed one goal. Hill scored 4:05 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Michigan. Matus Matis provided the assist.

The Warriors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The 36 shots that Michigan put on net surpassed the Warriors' average of 23.6 shots per game this season.

Michigan additionally got points from Joseph Ferriss, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Alec (AJ) White also scored for Michigan. In addition, Michigan received assists from Brock Krygier, Joey Sanchez, Martin Gruse, and Derek Knetter, who contributed one a piece.

Kalamazoo was held below its usual level of production. The Jr. K Wings average 3.5 goals per game. With 36 shots on target during the contest, Kalamazoo exceeded the 29.9 shots it averages per game this year.
