Lance Fredrickson finished with one point to lead the Traverse City North Stars to a 4-1 victory over the Jamestown Ironmen. The 28 shots that Traverse City put on net surpassed the North Stars' average of 21.9 shots per game this season. Traverse City also had goals scored by Nathan Harris, who had one and Sean Murphy, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Traverse City were Kyle Schempp, who had two and Will Badner, Seth Adams, Chris Waterstreet, and Chris Leibinger, who each chipped in one. Jamestown relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Luc Gerdes, Nick Bingaman and Zack Szajner took 13 of the team's 25 shots. In addition, Jamestown received assists from John Roisum and Blake Kelley, who contributed one a piece. Kyle Laslo made 24 saves for Traverse City on 25 shots. The North Stars incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Joe Ballmer recorded 24 saves for the Ironmen. Jamestown incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
