The St. Louis Bandits' Ryan Stouffer scored 4:11 into overtime to beat the Topeka RoadRunners, 3-2 (OT). St. Louis came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Bandits fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Topeka's Kyle Sharkey at 13:11 in the first period. St. Louis knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Taylor Wolfe at 19:57 in the third period. The Bandits were led by Stouffer, who finished with one goal and one assist. St. Louis' offense rang up 31 shots on the RoadRunners' net. Cody Ganchar also scored for St. Louis. More assists for St. Louis came via Joe Kalisz, who had one and Wes Elrod, who had two. With 33 shots on target during the contest, Topeka exceeded the 26.8 shots it averages per game this year. Topeka also got a goal from Michal Pastor as well. Other players who recorded assists for Topeka were Kevin Patterson, Ben Bahe, Richard Young, and Sean Gaffney, who each chipped in one. Tyler Green recorded 31 saves for the Bandits. St. Louis incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Cal Peterson rejected 28 shots on goal for the RoadRunners.
