Michael Lant had two goals to lead the Wenatchee Wild to a 4-1 victory over the Fresno Monsters.

Lant's tallies came on the power play at 3:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wenatchee and on the power play 9:31 into the second to make the score 2-0 Wenatchee.

Wenatchee stifled Fresno's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Wild got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. With 43 shots on target during the contest, Wenatchee exceeded the 28.9 shots it averages per game this year.

Wenatchee additionally got points from Jacob Barber, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Blake Roubos also scored for Wenatchee. More assists for Wenatchee came via Trace Redmond, who had one and Kyle Huson and Shawn Pauly, who contributed two a piece.

The Monsters were led by Ryan Doner, who scored the team's only goal. Doner scored 7:26 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Wenatchee. Luke Sandler assisted on the tally.

Robert Nichols rejected 16 shots on goal for the Wild. Wenatchee incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Fresno's Tomas Sholl stopped 39 shots out of the 42 that he faced. The Monsters incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
