The Alexandria Blizzard scored six goals in the second period to pull away from the Coulee Region Chill and clinch a 10-0 win.

Nick DAvolio had two goals and two assists to lead Alexandria. DAvolio scored the first of his two goals at 2:04 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Alexandria. Hayden Trupp provided the assist. DAvolio's next tally made the score 9-0 Alexandria with 6:38 left in the third period. Dylan Zink assisted on the tally.

Jacob Meyers spearheaded the defensive effort for the Blizzard, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 30 saves for the shutout. Meyers certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.02 entering the contest.

Alexandria's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Coulee Region power plays. The Blizzard featured an improved defense during the game.
