The Kenai River Brown Bears relied on the scoring touch of Jesse Ramsey, who netted two goals, to beat the Alaska Avalanche, 5-2.

Ramsey found the back of the net 12:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kenai River and again while on the power play 19:06 into the first to make the score 2-0 Kenai River.

Kenai River's defensemen played well offensively, producing two goals while racking up nine shots.
