Behind a great game by Mitchell Snider, who had two goals and two assists, the Traverse City North Stars defeated the Chicago Hitmen, 6-1. Snider found the back of the net 3:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Traverse City and again while 9:53 into the first to make the score 2-0 Traverse City.Chicago was stymied by Traverse City netminder Kyle Laslo, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Laslo managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.56 prior to the game.
