The Kalamazoo Jr. K Wings used a sparkling performance by Kenneth MacLean to take down the St. Louis Bandits, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Kalamazoo's 2-0 shutout victory. The Jr. K Wings were sparked by Jacob McDowell, who had one goal. McDowell scored 7:35 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Kalamazoo. Robbie Payne assisted on the tally. Kalamazoo stifled St. Louis' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Jr. K Wings average 27 shots on goal per game, but only sent 18 pucks on net against the Bandits.
