St. Louis falls to Michigan after surprising comeback

The Michigan Warriors climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the St. Louis Bandits, 4-3.

Michigan let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Warriors took a 1-0 advantage on a power play goal by Alec (AJ) White at 3:48 in the second period. Michigan found itself down 3-1 after St. Louis' Wes Elrod put the puck home on the power play at 6:21 in the third period. After evening things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Sheldon Taylor at 15:48 in the third, the Warriors got the game-winner from Chris Eckler at 17:52 in the third period.

Eckler was all over the ice for Michigan, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Eckler scored the first of his two goals at 10:21 into the third period to make the score 3-2 St. Louis. Taylor assisted on the tally. Eckler's next tally made the score 4-3 Michigan with 2:08 left in the third period. Robert Mantha picked up the assist.
