Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Janesville Jets defeated the Jamestown Ironmen in a shootout 2-1 (3-0 SO). The shootout lasted for six attempts between the teams. In addition to the clincher, Janesville got shootout goals from Connor McBride and Jordan Bancroft.The Jets put 36 shots on net during the contest, more than the 31 they average per game. Jamestown was hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled six minors and two majorsfor 22 minutes in penalty time.
