The Odessa Jackalopes' Josh Obregon scored 59 seconds into overtime to beat the New Mexico Mustangs, 5-4 (OT).

Odessa overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Jackalopes fell behind 4-2 after a goal by New Mexico's Patrick Anderson at 17:04 in the third period. Odessa tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Taylor Portner at 18:35 in the third period.

The Jackalopes were sparked by Obregon, who had one goal and one assist.

Odessa outscored its season scoring average. The Jackalopes average two goals per game. Odessa was often in penalty trouble, as it ended with six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time. The leading offender was Matthew Williams, who totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major.
