Craig Cowie racked up two points to lead the Nepean Raiders to a 7-3 victory over the Kemptville 73s. Nepean's offense efficiently hummed along to the tune of 36 shots put on Kemptville's net. The Raiders bested their season scoring average. Nepean averages four goals per game. Nepean additionally got points from Alex ODea, who also registered one goal and one assist, Ryan MacLean, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Cowie, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Dalen Hedges also scored for Nepean. More assists for Nepean came via Ryan Johnston, who had four, Mike Milito, Vincent Llorca, and Kenneth Neil, who contributed one each, and Tanner Williams and Ben Hutton, who each chipped in two. The 73s were helped by Jake Martin, who had one goal and one assist. Martin scored 10:39 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Nepean. John McLean picked up the assist. Kemptville also got points from Martin, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Kemptville got a goal from Mason Nowak as well. In addition, Kemptville received assists from Ryan Mulder, who had one and Cedric Lacroix, who had two. Matt Zawadzki turned away 24 pucks between the pipes for the Raiders. Nepean incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kemptville's Mulder stopped 29 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The 73s incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
