Brockville erases deficit to stun Cornwall, 3-2

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, the Brockville Braves battled back to claim a 3-2 victory over the Cornwall Colts.

Brockville never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Braves trailed 2-0 after a goal by Cornwall's Tylor Spink at 9:23 in the second period. Brockville knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Mike DeBello at 11:14 in the third period. The Braves got the game winner at 19:36 in the third period on a goal by DeBello.

Brockville was led by David Ferreira, who racked up one goal and one assist.

Brockville also got points from Ferreira, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Kenny Matheson also scored for Brockville. In addition, Brockville received assists from Sebastien Gingras, Matt Chartrain, and Hayden Hulton, who contributed one each.

Cornwall additionally got points from Spink, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Cornwall got a goal from Michael Borkowski as well. Other players who recorded assists for Cornwall were Tyson Spink, who had two.

Andrew Pikul recorded 27 saves for the Braves. Brockville incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Colts' Lukas Hafner stopped 25 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Cornwall incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
