In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Ottawa Senators escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears.

Ottawa gained the winning advantage on a goal by Alex Poitras 19:14 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Poitras had two goals to lead the Senators to victory.

Ottawa also got points from Maxime Pilon, who also registered one goal and one assist. Ottawa also got a goal from Andrew Hampton as well. In addition, Ottawa received assists from Nicholas Belleville, who had four and Jesse Barbier and Maxime Villeneuve-Menard, who contributed one a piece.
