Check Republic is going through a rebuilding process as they have lost half the team due to free agency.  Their all star defenceman Derek Ismail is taking time off to pursue other goals while Aldrin Alan is testing his skills in the Filipino League.  Both players will be avaliable to be called up when needed.

Replacing Derek Ismail is captain Wilfred Wong who in his first season registered 0 goals and 2 assists.  He is hoping for a breakout season. 

Losing all of their offensive output, Check Republic was able to pick up 3 scoring machines in Andrew Ha, Stephane Coqueux and John Nghiem.  Check Republic is hoping their role players can pick up their game otherwise it will be a long season.
