The Winter 08/09 season is the 26th season for the Shooters franchise.  Sweeping changes were made in the off-season with perennial scoring leaders Kevin & Dan Regalbuto leaving the club, and the departure of all-time leading scorer Jason Moore, making way for the additions of forwards Keith Love & Greg Tracy, as well as defenceman Greg Sunstrum.  After season-ending back surgery in 07, Jarrett Chalmers is back in the Shooters goal.
