South Park falls to South Fayette in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

South Fayette pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over South Park on a clutch goal by Kyle Sharp.

South Fayette was sparked by Sharp, who had one goal. Sharp scored 2:15 into overtime to make the score 5-4 South Fayette. Glenn Manni picked up the assist.

In a losing effort, South Park was led by Jakob Hickey, who registered two goals. Hickey scored the first of his two goals at 13:54 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Hickey's next tally made the score 3-3 with 16:12 left in the third period. Michael Marynchak assisted on the tally.

South Fayette kept South Park's goalie busy throughout the game, and Shane Walker made 37 saves on 42 shots.

South Fayette also got points from Jordan Timmons, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and John Lipovich, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for South Fayette included Ian Kumar and Spencer Barber, who each put in one. More assists for South Fayette came via Brandon Poage, who had one and Jacob Stack, who had two.

South Park additionally got points from Marynchak, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Justin Hickey, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, South Park received assists from Ryan Sikora, who had two and Tanner Orr and Montijo Goob, who each chipped in one.

Sharp recorded 19 saves for South Fayette. South Fayette incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. South Park incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities.
