Miller lifts Butler - MS over Mars - MS, 6-2

Butler - MS relied on the scoring touch of Ronan Miller, who netted two goals, to beat Mars - MS, 6-2.

Miller found the back of the net 11:45 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Butler - MS and again while 3:02 into the second to make the score 4-2 Butler - MS.

Butler - MS excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Butler - MS was held below its usual level of production. Butler - MS averages 8.5 goals per game. Mars - MS was unable to stop Butler - MS from sending pucks towards the net, and Butler - MS eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
