Doughboys uses fast start to beat Asylum, 13-2

Doughboys jumped out to a five-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat Asylum, 13-2.

Billy McCann was all over the ice for Doughboys, as he tallied four goals and four assists in the win. McCann's first goal came 2:00 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:43 into the first, at 2:06 into the second, and at 1:48 into the third.

Doughboys' offense rang up 58 shots on Asylum's net. Doughboys surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Doughboys has scored at the pace of 8.0 goals per game during the current campaign. Doughboys got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Asylum was led by Robert Achimov, who finished with one goal. Achimov scored 5:53 into the second period to make the score 7-1 Doughboys. Player Santelli also scored for Asylum.
