Misfits climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Asylum, 5-4. Misfits let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Misfits took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Nicholas Guastella at 12:53 in the second period. Misfits found itself down 2-0 after Asylum's Michael Barra put the puck home at 5:01 in the first period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a goal by Guastella at 4:37 in the third, Misfits got the game-winner from Frank Santore at 8:35 in the third period. Guastella was all over the ice for Misfits, as he tallied two goals in the win. Asylum was unable to stop Misfits from sending pucks towards the net, and Misfits eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.
