Starting January 2008, the Canlan ASHL player insurance carrier has advised Canlan Ice Sports Corp. that all goaltenders who use any non approved CSA face mask including “Cats Eye Cages” must sign an insurance waiver for the remainder of this season and all subsequent ASHL hockey seasons.The waiver & release forms are in the league office and must be signed by all goaltenders not using CSA approved head gear.

Please have your goaltenders come to the league office to sign the forms. Copies will be kept on file for the current season. Each season must see the player sign the waiver & release form, similar to each player signing for insurance for each played season in the ASHL
