Adam McQuillan lifted Westmont Hilltop to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against Freeport.

McQuillan notched his first tally 2:16 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:25 into the first and at 4:26 into the first.

Westmont Hilltop excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Westmont Hilltop additionally got points from Ty Rickabaugh, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Austin Crespo, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Westmont Hilltop were Stephen DeMarco, who had three and Austin DeGrange and Roger Affloter, who each chipped in one.

Freeport's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Westmont Hilltop power plays.
