There was an incident on the ice between #55H - Kevin Vroom and #20V - Jacques Perron that caused a major upset..
#55H Kevin made the comment that the "Puck was Black" at the faceoff and without really thinking, #20V - Jacques made the comment "So is your mother".
This really offended Kevin Vroom, as he originally thought Jacques was being Racist.
Ref. Joel Beaudet, heard the comment, when Jacques said it, but really didn''t think much of it at the time.
After speaking with the team reps, both Kevin and Jacques and the 2 refs.. It was determined to everyone satififaction that the comment made by Jacques was not meant to prejudice just, a bad comment at the wrong time and no further action is required for the misunderstanding.
Jacques take this as a warning to watch what you say on the ice and in the penalty
box... and Kevin, I hope this game note states your frustrtaion properly.
