Joey's a right-shooting forward who prides himself on seeing the ice and making precise breakout passes to his team mates.  He's known for his incredible speed on the ice and his passing and play-making.  He works hard at winning battles in the corners and always gives his best effort.  His favorite player is Pavel Datsyuk because he has great hands and is probably the best "all-around" NHL player. 

 Joey graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Central, Monroe in June with a 2.8 GPA.  He also performed over 100 hours of community service at St. Mary's annual auctions, yearly jazz festivals, and other fund-raisers.  Joey played 4 years of high school Varsity hockey and was Team Captain for the last 2 years.  He was also named Huron League First Team All-State and Huron League MVP for the past 2 years.  He is also the recipient of a Michigan Merit Exam Scholarship for furthering education.  Joey enjoys all kinds of motorized racing sports and likes watching movies, especially comedies.
